A SERIES of cold fronts and surface troughs brought widespread light to moderate rainfall totals across southern Australia during the week.
The highest daily rainfall total was 53.8 mm at Quamby Bluff, Tasmania to 9 am on the 18th.
Weekly rainfall totals of 50 to 100 mm were recorded in western Tasmania. The highest weekly total was 96 mm at Mt Read, Tasmania.
Weekly rainfall totals of 15 to 50 mm were recorded in south-west Western Australia, southern South Australia, south-west Victoria, along the Great Dividing Range in Victoria and New South Wales and the central New South Wales coast.
Weekly rainfall totals of less than 10 mm were recorded over much of the rest of southern Australia.
