Sheep Central April 27, 2020

Victorian Minister for Agriculture Jaclyn Symes.

VICTORIAN Agriculture Minister Jaclyn Symes will outline her vision for regional Victoria post COVID-19 during a special Rural Press Club of Victoria webinar this week.

The webinar on Thursday, 30 April, at 2pm for a 2.15pm start will be open to the general public, including those who are not members of the club.

Ms Symes was born and raised at Benalla and has served as a Member for Northern Victoria in the Victorian Upper House since 2014.

Following the Andrews Government’s re-election in November 2018, she was appointed Minister for Agriculture, Regional Development and Resources. She is also the leader of the Government in the Upper House.

The Rural Press Club of Victoria said it plans to conduct a series of webinars in the coming months as COVID-19 restricts its ability to host lunches and networking opportunities.

The webinars are free of charge to all participants, but registration is essential. To register, visit ruralpressclub.com
