NSW police investigate theft of Merino lambs at Gulgong

A Merino lamb with similar ear tag and mark to those recently stolen near Gulgong NSW.

MUDGEE police are seeking information concerning the theft of 52 Merino lambs from a central west New South Wales property.

The rural crime prevention team in in the Orana Mid-Western Police District are investigating the theft of the lambs from the Beryl area near Gulgong, about 107 km east of Dubbo.

A similar ear tag to that of sheep stolen near Gulgong in NSW.

Police believe the theft occurred between February and April this year. The 2018 drop lambs were marked with the victim’s earmark and each had an orange tag in the left ear with the Property Identification Code (PIC) NG22 1447.
