Meat Business Women masterclass workshop planned

Sheep Central, November 10, 2021

Humans of Agriculture founder Oli Le Lievre

Meat Business Women masterclass next month aims to help women across the Australian and New Zealand meat industries create better connections and engagement with their audiences.

The Australian Meat Industry Council as the Australian territory partner of Meat Business Women is promoting the virtual event on Thursday 2 December, 11am-11:45am (AEDT) or 1pm-1:45pm (NZT).

The event is designed for all women, at all career stages, across the entire meat supply chain (including those who are not yet MBW members). In the open event, hosted by MBW Australia chair and AMIC’s communications general manager Catharine Heffernan and led by Humans of Agriculture founder Oli Le Lievre, participants will learn the importance of sharing their story and creating deeper connections.

Oli Le Lievre is the Founder of Humans of Agriculture, a social enterprise aiming to bring the agriculture community together to connect, discuss, laugh and share their passion, one story at a time. For more than a decade Oli has worked in a variety of roles and a variety of sectors in agriculture both in Australia and overseas. This included working on farms to corporate advisory and consulting work, from agtech start-ups to global agrifood sustainability events. He is currently the content marketing manager for digital trading platform AuctionsPlus.

In the masterclass workshop, Oli will outline techniques he’s used and developed to build a connection with his audience, increase their engagement and take them on a journey to develop understanding.
