SHEEP producers are being invited to participate in the latest Meat & Livestock Australia and Australian Wool Innovation sheep meat and wool survey.

MLA said the survey, which is open until 31 October 2019, will gather information on production, including the intentions of sheep meat producers and woolgrowers.

The results from this survey, which was first carried out in 2010, will provide an important foundation for MLA’s and AWI’s industry forecasting and market information analysis. It will also assist producers and growers with on-farm management decisions based on the most current data and evidence, but also drawing comparisons with data from 2010 onwards, MLA said.

MLA said produders’ responses will be aggregated with the replies from other participants to create regional, state and national wool and sheep meat industry data. Individual responses remain strictly confidential.
