QUEENSLAND’S Rural and Stock Crime Squad is investigating the theft of 21 stud Poll Dorset and Border Leicester sheep from a property at Mount Whitestone, south-east of Toowoomba.
Detective Senior Constable Catherine Swan posted yesterday that detectives from the Rural and Stock Crime Squad are appealing for information in relation to the theft of 21 sheep from a property on Gatton Clifton Road, Mount Whitestone.
The stud quality sheep which were born in November, 2024 and had black National Livestock Identification System tags with the Property Identification Code QDLV1050.
Det Senior Constable Swan posted that the sheep were stolen during the day, between 7am and 3pm, on Monday 24 February 2025.
The sheep are described as a Poll Dorset lamb ram and 12 Poll Dorset lamb ewes, one Border Leicester ram and seven BL ewes.
Investigators a very keen to speak with anyone that may have information in relation to this theft.
