National Biosecurity Forum is online, and in-person by invitation only

Minister for Agriculture Murray Watt will address the National Biosecurity Forum.

ONLINE registrations are now open for the online National Biosecurity Forum scheduled for 5 April with a range of Australian and New Zealand speakers.

The forum will include sessions covering stronger partnerships and a shared biosecurity culture; new opportunities and challenges; natural pathways and invasive species, and; integration supported by technology, research and data.

Speakers will include Minister for Agriculture Murray Watt and leaders in the biosecurity sector from Australia and New Zealand.

Attendance in person is free, but by invitation only. Invited attendees will receive an email with registration information.

The forum is held on behalf of the National Biosecurity Committee and aims to bring together key stakeholders from around Australia to discuss challenges, opportunities and innovative approaches for protecting Australia’s biosecurity system.

Winners of the Australian Biosecurity Awards 2022 will also be announced at an awards dinner as part of the forum. Forum participants will be invited to attend.
