ONSHORE winds brought scattered showers to parts of the eastern mainland coast during the week.

Weekly rainfall totals of 15-100mm, and locally higher, were recorded across parts of the northern tropical and central Queensland coasts, and most of the New South Wales coast.

The highest weekly total at a Bureau of Meteorology gauge was 218mm at Topaz Alert in Qld, which included the highest daily total of 84mm in the 24 hours to 9am on 27 June.
