AUSTRALIA’s last weekly sheep sales for 2018 will be held next week on December 20 and selling will recommence on January 2, 2018.
THE National Livestock Reporting Service has published the dates for the last sheep and cattle sales in 2017 and the first sales in 2018, across the saleyard network.
The last NLRS-reported sheep sales in 2017 on December 20 will be at Carcoar, Cootamundra and Yass in New South Wales, at Katanning in Western Australia, and at Hamilton in Victoria.
Apart from the Naracoorte sheep sale in South Australia on January 2, the first group of sheep centres to have sales in 2018 will be on January 3 at Guyra and Yass in New South Wales, at Katanning in Western Australia, Hamilton and Horsham in Victoria, and Mount Gambier in SA.
